Sharyn O'Grady loves working with clay. Her pieces are sculptural and functional. She has worked extensively with porcelain using inlays of coloured clay in jewellery and homewares.

Her recent works have been with ceramic totems. These are usually large colourful quirky sculptures for gardens, homes and workplaces.
